Bullet Boy Trailer Analysis

Trailer Analysis:

The beginning of the trailer starts off with the police breaking into the house. The music used is parallel sound. This is used throughout the whole trailer. This is called a sound bridge.

The trailer is very effective from the beginning, as you see a young boy who is being instructed by a police officer to put his hands on his head. This brings tension upon the audience, as it shows that; for the young boy to be in this position he may have done something against the law. these norms and values may have ben passed down from the older teenagers.
The reason i have chosen this trailer is because it is associated with gun crime and the young gangs.

Our film represents gun crime and gangs but also drugs.
The trailers uses fast cutting sequences. This shows that this is a convention all trailers use. This could relate to a music video as they also use fast cutting shots. The trailers uses cuts most of the time, but uses fades when presenting a slogan for example 'Stunning Time Out'.

The film uses different types of genre's to produce a montage. For example at one point of the trailer in will involve gun crime, his girlfriend, then his family. The rage on genre's shown are romance, social life and action. The effect of this makes the trailer more interesting.

The lesson to be learnt from this trailer is that there is one shot at life, referring to the 'Gun'
