Trailer Analysis:
The Last Step You'll Ever Take!!
I chose this trailer, as it involves money. In the trailer, a crew of break dancers bet $5,000 on a dance competition and loose. They need the money back, and there is a competition out and the winner gets $50,000. they need to win.
The trailer uses parallel music, as it suits the urban type street dancing film. This film trailer also uses sound bridges. This film is a Hollywood film with a passive audience. The audience this film targets is street dancers and young teenagers of any ethic groups. The trailer mostly uses cuts and uses montage sequences of different genre's. For example this film also relates to girlfriend relations and friendship relations. In our trailer we will be also including friendship relations.
This trailer also uses a voice over, which is a typical convention of trailers.
This trailer was produced in 2004. The songs shown within this film are likely to be seen on MTV. This film may be shown on channel 4 during the day to target its audience.
This film looks like a high budgeted film as it contains top class street dancers and top rappers and singers.
